Media Release Policy

Purpose

Tactical Aquatics may capture photography, videography, and other media (“Media”) of participants during programs, lessons, training sessions, events, or services. Media is used for social media, marketing, advertising, educational content, archiving, and other lawful commercial purposes that support the mission and growth of Tactical Aquatics.

Consent and Use

By participating in Tactical Aquatics programs or services, the participant (or the participant’s Parent/Legal Guardian, if the participant is a minor) grants Tactical Aquatics the unrestricted right to create, use, reproduce, publish, display, distribute, and archive Media without limitation, in any format or platform, now or in the future.

The participant releases Tactical Aquatics, its staff, contractors, and representatives from any present or future claims for compensation, damages, or liability arising from the creation or use of such Media.

Respectful Representation

Tactical Aquatics is committed to using all Media responsibly and respectfully. When Media includes minors, Tactical Aquatics will protect their privacy by avoiding the use of full names or personally identifying information unless explicit written permission is provided.

Revoking Consent

Parents or Legal Guardians may revoke consent for future use of a minor’s Media by submitting a written request to Tactical Aquatics. Upon receipt, Tactical Aquatics will discontinue using the child’s Media in new materials. Previously published Media may remain in circulation, but no new uses will occur.

Limitations

Revocation of consent cannot require Tactical Aquatics to retrieve or remove Media already published, printed, or distributed prior to the revocation date. Tactical Aquatics does not sell Media to third parties and does not permit unauthorized external use.
